BNB network

This update increases the computing power of the BNB Beacon chain for security and management. In this update, DEX functions are removed from the BNB Beacon chain, while DEX functions remain on the BNB smart chain.

Update on the BNB network

For the Trust Wallet user

Trust Wallet supports the upcoming update of the BNB Chain network. This will happen with an estimated block height of 264,000,000 on September 2, 2022, at 06:00 UTC.

For a reliable wallet

This means we are removing the BNB Beacon Chain trading tab, which will not be visible in the app for placing new orders.

BNB scholarships are still available.

For Binance users

Binance supports upgrades and hard forks of the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) and Beam (BEAM) networks.

The BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) network upgrade and a hard fork will occur at BNB Beacon Chain block 264,000,000 approximately on September 2, 2022, at 06:00 (UTC). BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) deposits and withdrawals will be suspended starting at 5:00 AM (UTC) on or about September 2, 2022.

The Beam Network (BEAM) upgrade and a hard fork will take place at Beam mainnet block 1,920,000 on approximately September 2, 2022, at 09:00 UTC. BEAM deposits and withdrawals will be suspended from 08:00 (UTC) on or about 09/02/2022.

Reminder:

Trading of tokens available on the BNB Beacon chain (BEP2) and the BEAM network will not be affected during network upgrades and hard forks.

The BNB Beacon Chain Network Update (BEP2) and a hard fork will take place at the BNB Beacon Chain block height of 264,000,000. The estimated time is for user reference only.

The Beam Network (BEAM) upgrade and a hard fork will occur at Beam Main Network block 1,920,000. The estimated time is for user reference only.

Binance meets all technical requirements for all users.

BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) and Beam (BEAM) network upgrades and hard forks will not result in the creation of new tokens.

We will reopen deposits and withdrawals on the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) and Beam (BEAM) networks once we believe the updated networks are stable and will not notify users of any additional announcements.

In the event of a discrepancy between the translated versions and the original English version, the English version shall prevail.
